Stock pad dampers on aftermarket pads...

Stock pad dampers on aftermarket pads...
I just upgraded my pads to Ferodos... the shop said they can't use the stock pad dampers on these pads... is that true? do I need those for sure to help with squealing?

No need to use them on track pads. Track/Race pads will squeal even with them. I don't even use them when I swap back in my stock street pads and my street pads do not squeal with out these dampers
