Default Wheel touch-up paint?

My stock Carrera S-II wheels have a few knicks/dings so I would like to apply some touch up paint.

Anyone know where can I can purchase matching paint?

Grazie.

Anyone know if a paint supply (auto) would mix up a small batch of paint for this purpose?

For small chips I have been using the touch up paint from my BMW (titanium silver 354) and its a very good match for the Carrera Classics I have on my car, and I am quite picky as far as color match etc... I wouldn't expect good results with a large rash, but nicks from stones or careless handling of lug bolts, its works great.

I have tried spraying some Wurth wheel paint into the cap and then using a small art brush to apply, but I agree with you, it dries too dark.

I found some GM paint commonly found at Auto Zone that is a nearly perfect match. I used it to cover a large rash and it is invisible from 3 feet away.

Believe it or not, I took a photo of my wheel with my iphone, then walked into the store to compare in order to find a color match. And it worked! Rustoleum Scratch and Chip Repair. GM 60021 - Galaxy Silver.

Here are some photos taken from 3 feet, 5 feet, and 6 inches. Truth be told, the flash is hiding the touch up in the 6 inch photo. From that close, you can see it if you are looking for it. But the paint color is not really the thing you notice, it is the actual damage which up close is not perfectly smooth.

I need to touch up 997.2 Carrera S II wheels on few small spots, I have wurth spray and it's darker when touch up and won't match. Also don't want to spray.

What's the best Matching color? I see two posts.. also any of you tried testors paint? Any Suggestions..

BMW titanium silver 354
Mercedes Iridium Silver #9775

Thanks,

on the subject of wheel touch up paint, any suggestions for the barrels?
I had some balance weights removed which have left scratches. It looks to be a grey colour on my lobster forks. I've applied some lacquer to prevent corrosion, but some of the scratches are visible through the spokes, and now seem to be always seem at a the right angle/ position for me to notice.

Call Dr. Colorchip. They will make up a bottle for you. I got one and it was a perfect match. I applied it with a brush since it was scrapes on the wheel rim. Can't see it without close inspection.
