What would be the correct offsets for a 2009 C2S?
9x18 and 12x18 wheels.

For optimul tire performance you want the widest wheel possible. You want to control the side wall flex and slightly stretching the sidewall is the way to go. This allows the side wall to flex a little in a turn and roll over just slightly keeping the most tread possible on the ground. Alignment also helps this a lot. Having a wheel on the narrow side of spec will allow the sidewall to move around more and roll over more. This is effect that crips turn is that you want and make things feel a little slower in the steering and mushy. On the other hand you do not want a tire profile that is so low that it is like riding on rocks. The tire flex is part of the suspension and it all works together.
