Default Tan leather cleaner?

Those of you with light coloured leather, what do you use to maintain and clean off stains such as the dye from jeans? had black leather seats/interior before and it was never an issue. Now with tan it is.

Also i am not 100% sure what exactly is leather in the car......i have a two tone black and tan. the only item that doesnt look leather is the center console

thanks

Zaino leather cleaner and leather in a bottle www.zainobros.com

Can't go wrong with that. Works on vinyl bits as well

I use the same - both the Zaino. Love the smell of leather that comes out of the bottle.

sonax leather foam and Prestine cleaner by Leatherique are both excellent choices which I use all the time.

I like the Porsche leather cleaner (available from your dealer). It just works and leaves no mark.

For leather treatment/conditioning I like Sonus Leather Conditioner.

Leather Masters and a boars hair brush work very well on light colored leathers. I used this combination to clean the Linen seats in my 928 and the end result was excellent.

I've heard others say good things about Leather Masters and Zaino Leather conditioner. I haven't tried Zaino yet but I may give it a try when I run out of the Leather Master.

Thanks for the advice. I will try one of these and use it on the parts that look like leather ie the dash and seats front and back. The seat backs easily get scuffs. Hopefully if i get it on the plastic parts no damage done
thanks

+1 on Zaino Leather Products

I am a big fan of Adam's products but when I compared Adam's leather cleaning & condition products to Zaino, Zaino won hands down...

Zaino cleaner is MUCH gentler on leather
Zaino conditioner is higher quality and SMELL is AMAZING!

For me Adam's products on 95% of my "detailing" and 5% with Zaino Leather care products.

Just my $.02. The bottom line is something is better than nothing!

If you have an ink stain, or a stain from something that's 'permanent' on your leather seats, you can normally get it out by using 90% rubbing alcohol. Don't use the 70% stuff, only the 90% alcohol will remove stains from leather.

I learned that from a professional detail guy. It works.. I know..

Brake cleaner works pretty well, too. But always test it first in a hidden area--it's not friendly to many plastics).
