I think it should be an option.

Having it i like it but for the more track oriented people it is not necessary plus they wOuld save probably around 30 lbs thus less weight and lower center of gravity...

In the Carrera and Carerra S it should be an option, but in my opinion at this level it doesnt matter. If you are that in to rigidity and worried about your helmet than you should be looking at some type of GT3. ALthough as I have said before this 997.2 C2S in just AMAZING in performance! A perfect blend of balance and raw power.
But really in this car its a moot point.
