On a car like this, the delete option is appropriate for almost anything but the engine, but I don't think I'd have been interested in one that came without sunroof from the factory. And I sure wouldn't want a glass sunroof in this climate.

I love the concept of having a sunroof, but rarely do I actually use it.

No thanks on the sunroof. Here in the DC area, opening it just bakes you in the sun. I note that even people who drive convertibles here rarely put the top down or even open the windows. When I want open air motoring, I take out the boat.

I like the pop-up for circulation and my sweety likes it opened up whilst cruising the Hill Country back roads. And if you are munching BBQ ribs as you cruise you can toss the stripped bones out of the top.

Your avitar picture is scary! You are using a harness with out the proper seat restraint holes. Your shoulder belts will fall/slip right off in a spin or crash.

MDRUMS.......so I would need new seats for that?? So far, with the limited usage, the five point belts have been very snug as is. But I see you are an instructor and I am a newby so all advice is certainly welcome. Send me a PM if you wish. Thanks!

I think the sunroof option gives you actually more headroom because it sits kinda recessed in the cut-out of the roof....
The engine sounds also nice in the pop-up position.
In Europe we have to pay a premium for the sun-roof (about 1500 Dollars). I would not pay that much for it, but mine was choosen (and paid for) by the prevoius owner.
To me, a sun-roof is a relict from the days when most cars had no A/C here in Europe. But nowadays it is kinda useless. Just my $ 0,04

It clearly does not give more headroom.
