Quite a change from this statement. Careful... you may ruffle some feathers in this forum.

Indeed.
I'm not afraid to admit when I may have been less than correct.

Got to drive 4 different 911's as well as a Boxster Spyder. (I could have tried the Cayman too, but opted to stick with the same instructor in car.) Got speeds of up to 115 at the end of the longer straight in the 911 following the instructor and got to go as fast as I wanted in the Spyder on the short course.

All cars were PDK sport plus equipped.

cool, glad you had a good time!

I'm with you: PDK is the future.

Heard yesterday they had two 6 speeds with rest of 911's were PDK's. However, someone cooked the clutch on one 911 yesterday, so PCNA decided to only use PDK's now for all cars. Not sure if they will go back to 6 speeds for these future events. Their challenge is some drivers really don't know how to drive stick. Agree, PDK is great.

Let's just say the range of driver ability was really astounding.

Apparently the driver said knew how to drive stick (a lie) clutch was burned out toward the back straight - smoke very where.

The same also happened at Fontana. And many of these guys are actually Porsche owners and they truly are convinced they know how to drive stick...

While I type this I am watching Le Mans. The R18 has an S-Tronic tranny...

I've got a great tale from the event that perfectly describes one drivers ability.
As I really don't mean any disrespect, I'll keep it off the public part of the forum.

Do tell. This a forum of P-car fans and the good and the bad should be known for everyone's benefit.
