Pretty disappointing.
Talk with your dealer. He may be able to get you in.

Honestly I have not been that happy with the dealer since I bought my car. I emailed my disappointment over the hollow invite, we'll see what transpires.
(The sales guy I dealt with was ok, their service was really lacking and I strongly suspect that they dented my car when it was in for a problem the week after I bought the car. Called several times on it and didn't even get the courtesy of a return call)

you could "test drive" any of the above, plus a Panamera or Cayenne, on public streets as well.

I'd give the dealer a call, or PCNA, and see what they can do.

When I signed up the on the road test drives were full, but the track sessions were available. Perhaps log in again and check what part you were looking at.

I went to the event this year in palm beach and it was a lot of fun. Would have been great to have more driving, but it was still a great afternoon. It was the first time I had driven the 911 on the track, so i enjoyed getting to get a taste of what the car could do. We hit speeds between 125 and 130 on the straights.

I just did the track event (the 911 test drives were full), but it is worth going for just the track events..

.
I think you may be right Guy. The full stuff may have been the road test.

I'm excited!
Hopefully there will not be any DHMO on the roads that day. (My luck hasn't been very good this spring)

Not looking forward to that part.

Also... In an effort to avoid any chance of rain, I went and purchased a new set of Rainx wiper blades.

Just got back. What a great event.
Got to drive 4 different 911's as well as a Boxster Spyder. (I could have tried the Cayman too, but opted to stick with the same instructor in car.) Got speeds of up to 115 at the end of the longer straight in the 911 following the instructor and got to go as fast as I wanted in the Spyder on the short course.

All cars were PDK sport plus equipped.
If I'm not mistaken hell froze over after lap 2. I do believe I am a PDK convert.
