This is in regards to the back of the car dropping off and parking on the street where their is no wall to the rear... In my previous M3 had a spoiler that you could see- my range rover had parking and back up camera and my truck well you can see the end of the bed...

Three Wheelin'
I use a reversible drivers seat and, through a Rube Goldbergian series of levers and pulleys controlling the gas, brake and clutch, I simply swivel the drivers seat 180 degrees so Reverse is actually a very, very low first gear.

you want to have that option hen passenger mirror flips down when you put cart in reverse. if you have SC and electric seats - it will be in stock functions, if you do not - buy mods4cars bax to have this.
it is a very helpful feature.

This car has reverse? never used it.
If you're having trouble- why don't you get a few tall parking cones and back into them a few times so you get a sense of where the back of the car is? No need for fancy electronics. This is really something you should teach yourself. The sense of accomplishment will offset the flaming you're getting on this thread.

This method works well in reverse too...even better when you grab second after launching in reverse.

Actually...
- make sure you driver's mirror is set to turn downward when you put your car in reverse
with the mirrors you can center the car in a space easily for backing
- go to an empty lot with the cement parking stops and slowly back toward one a little at a time. Take your time, getting out to see how far you are from the curb/stop. Once you are the distance you want from the curb, get back in the car, put the car in reverse so it lowers the mirror. Looking through the lowered mirror, determine what curves or features on the car that the curb visually aligns with.
On my car there is an obvious "alignment image," so when I see the cement block align with a part of the car (while looking in the mirror), I get an exact, repeatable distance from the curb. You'll find that visual alignment easy to repeat.
