Default RMS R & R Now or wait until CPO 11th hour?

My RMS is sweating a bit - no drips on the garage floor and I don't need to add oil between changes. CPO on my '06 C2S runs until June 2012.

I've booked the RMS R & R but then I got thinking; maybe I should wait until spring '12; maybe I'll need a clutch or whatever between then and now and I'll be able to piggyback some of that labor cost on the RMS job.

Is an RMS leak really any more than a cosmetic issue? Is it strategic to wait, or is there a downside to not getting it addressed now?

Can't they check the clutch while it's out and see if it would be worth replacing then?

I would do it soon, make sure the new seal does not leak. What if you wait and the new seal starts leaking soon after your expiration?

Yes, similar advice on this subject on another thread. Good points, I'm going to have the RMS done immediately rather than wait.
