Agreed! ^ I thought about having the dealer install the 911 emblem on my 996 but I figured it would go down something like this.

Me: Make sure it is positioned in the center of the deck lid (left to right) and the bottom of the emblem 8mm from the bottom of the deck lid edge.

Service Manager: No problem! Clem is meticulous about his work.

Clem completes the install and brings the car around front.

Clem: There it is. It is perfectly centered! (His face is beaming with obvious pride)

Me: Yes, that is centered perfectly. But what the hell is a "191"?

After I received my new badge from Bumperplugs, I didn't trust myself to center it perfectly so I paid a body shop that I trust $ 50 to remove the old badge and install my new one, I figured they had done this sorta thing countless times and I guess they had since mine was done perfectly.
