MSRP $105,845 -- initial offer from dealer is $10K off MSRP (car is "used")

Anyone know this vehicle?

Thanks.

Offer $80k and see how they respond.

You always want to find the number they won't take first.

I'd be worried why it is up for sale with that low mileage. Was there a problem with it? Accident damage and repaired without insurance claim?

Also there's little doubt in my mind it has NOT been broken in before being driven hard.

Same questions I asked. The car is for a colleague at work so I don't have the answers...yet. I'd get an inspection including paint thickness, maybe a DME report (on PDK), and see if I could find the history for any body damage.

Assuming it checks out, what would you pay?

You could have bought that car new for $10K off MSRP.

$80-$85K assuming no accidents or buy back.

+1

I'd offer $80 and be happy with $85k.

Sorry I forgot to answer that part.

Like others have said, you can still buy new and get $10k off, so in my mind this is a used car with potential red flags for $10k off, or I could get a good deal on a new one for about that much. So I'd want more than that off, somewhere 20% or so off MSRP... in this case somewhere in the $80's max.

Just... again, it's almost like a one year old car with 5000 miles seems to be a safer buy than a one year old car with only 700 miles. Why only 700? What's wrong with it? What happened?

It looks to me to be a pretty run of the mill (spec) car you could easily find brand new in stock at most dealers.

1. wouldnt assume something is wrong w/ the car until a full PPI is done. WHo knows it could have been a demo.

2. def get a CPO, its very cheap for the dealer to add this.

3. Price- I would agree, around 80ish. The turn off for me is the lack of "full" leather.

Not a car I'd buy for styling reasons.

It does have 100mi on it, so its not factory fresh.

In my eyes, the car being a demo would be indicative that there's something wrong with it. Not that there's anything visibly damaged, but..."rode hard and put away wet".

The dealer should give you a carfax for this vehicle so you can see if there have been any prangs.

I think this is just a dealer ordered model that they have had a couple of test drives on. 100 miles is nothing...

If I could get this for $80k plus have them throw in the extra 2 years for CPO, I'd buy it!

The carfax report says it was brought at Rhode Island and drove for 3 or 4 months and now at Maryland. This is under warranty so I would not worry about the engine but need to check the body and paint. A lot of 09 have more than 10m and still asking close to $80g. I don't think they will go less than $85g. IMO,

Well, they are not a Porsche dealer, so CPO is out. But there are just over three years of factory warranty left, so that's not bad.
I think $83k would be a fair price. Maybe better if they could throw in a clear bra, window tint, etc.

Nice points. I bought my 2010, 90 miles, standard trans, std black paint, similar other options, for 27% off sticker.

The rest of the story....clean carfax, but car was part of a pooled hail loss. repairs done, with promise to fix anything else I noticed may have been impacted by the storm. Since purchasing, they have replaced the front bumper, the deck lid on the spoiler, window trim both sides, one piece of glass scratched while doing the trim work, and even one major interior part that had minor imperfections (not really storm related), but that I noticed. Dealership has gone out of its way honoring its promise. The car is now perfect, and the carfax is clean. You just never really know for sure!
