Speedster
History shows that "limited edition" items conceived as "collectibles" do not retain much premium value if they are used, but if not used generally appeal to a niche market that diminishes in size over time. I have never had any interest in the "Speedster", which is simply a puffed up 997 variant with no evident connection to the original Porsche Speedster. Nevertheless, this is very much in line with Porsche's very reasonable desire to remain the #1 automobile manufacturer in terms of average profit per unit sold.
Not for me. At that price I'd buy the RS 4.0 and pay over sticker if I had to. I'd buy a Macca. A Scud, A TT S etc. This is a car for someone with unlimited funds or collectors.
