Help - yellow/green liquid now under my 997 C2S Manual
Hi
I came across this thread and I am hoping someone can helpp me as my Porsche dealer in the UK is telling me this is nothing to do with the Porsche and maybe a dead animal or something!. The issue started after a recent service by them and I now get a yellow/green liquid drips under the area around my rear engine and wheels. It seems a watery substance and is not greasey.
The car is kep in a garage and the garage floor is painted with a grey paint - i've taken some pictures with my phone and attached here. Has anybody got any ideas as this is driving me mad as Porsche cant seem to offer any help.
Its a stock 2008 997 C2S Manual with the Sports Switchable Exhaust option.
The car was parked dry when these pictures were taken so it isnt rain or as a result of washing it.
Thanks
Gary

What color is the coolant in your reservoir? it's not uncommon for it to be refilled with green (instead of porsche pink) coolant. if so, my guess would be coolant. if you can get unter the car and actaully take a photo of where it is dripping from.
Sometimes I put a sheet of white paper under the drip over night to get a sense of what's actually dripping.

I found some mystery fluids near the rear of my car, Garaged.Put my finger in it to ascertain the type of odor. Called the wife to help identify it. Yep, dog pee.

Hi
Thanks for all the input. No animals out in the garage and no way for anything to get in or out without me unlocking it. The strange thing is I can't see where it is dripping from. Ill take the advice of white paper to see if I can get a more accurate idea of where it is coming from.

Maybe there is a cat trapped in your garage that you don't know about. Put some food out in the garage to see if it gets eaten. Garage doors closed of course, to check for unknown detainees.

Thanks for all the input. I'll get to the bottom of this somehow.

somebody or something is jacking you around. Those pictures don't reflect anything I've ever seen originating from an ailing automobile. Seems too widely dispersed and random. Can't wait to know what it is.
