Brand new turbo with oil issues

Hello everyone, I literally just picked up my new GT silver/cocoa interior turbo coupe today and I have a bit of a question. I know this is technically a cross post but I have always received a great deal of help in the past regarding my C2S. So, after driving approximately one hour of a three hour trip home, the check engine oil light came on. I then checked it and it was flashing at the bottom level. I stopped to visit some friends and when I rechecked it an hour later, it was at max level. So I started off again toward home, and approximately an hour later, the check engine oil light came on. What the hell? I called the sales guy who I have dealt with for the past four months (building my car and awaiting its arrival) and he suggested adding 1/4 of a quart, that the level was likely barely below max and thus setting off the sensor. I am hesitant to do this however when at times the oil level reads at the maximum bar. According to the manual, the two reasons I would get the check oil level in the first place are:1. it is below minimum or 2. well above maximum. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I bet that car is beautiful - maybe my fav color combo. But at those prices, back to the dealer to sort out that oil gadget - it should not be doing that.

I thought I would provide an update on the situation. Bluegrass Porsche in Louisville is sending a truck to pick the car up in the morning. Definitely not a great first experience with a new car but I am satisfied that they are addressing the problem proactively.
