Great.....if and when it comes time to do the clutch, I will need to inspect and improve.

Failure=Yes.

Low speed! 2005 997.2. Mileage was 58k. Cost to replace IMS and also clutch was $12k.
I am very happy that I spent the $ and still have the beautiful 911 !!!!

Pat Williams (Memphis, TN) did the replacement. He replaced with a new, larger bearing Porsche 2016 part #. Removed the seal so that the oil can lubricate the bearings. This is how it is done!

Will last longer than me!

Compared to San Diego prices you got ripped off. Cost of IMS +clutch is around $4k-$5K for a 2005.5 997 unless the failure caused engine damage which costs around $20k.
