My car has PASM and I lowered it an additional 15mm when I installed damptronics. That was the max I could go with my driveway.

Dropped my PASM-equipped S an extra 15mm with TechArt springs. The new height is perfect for me, no scrapes if I'm selective about driveways, etc.

1.2 inches is equal to just over 30mm below the height of standard Carrera like yours. That's the same drop as a GT3. It's certainly doable, but you will require a lot more care over bumps, driveways, etc. For a car that will be driven exclusively on the street I think that's too low and will be more trouble than it's worth, but that's just my opinion. Personally, I wouldn't go more than 20mm below where you are now. The other thing to consider is that your shocks aren't matched to the shorter, stiffer springs and your ride quality will likely suffer. Porsche has done a really good job with getting the proper balance of ride and handling in their cars. When you make changes to "improve" in one aspect of performance, you need to be sure you're ready for the negative consequences in some other area.

I'd say too much! Don't do more than 20mm or 0.8", it also wouldn't screw up the suspension geometry as bad.

If you're selective, then I wouldn't call that "no scrapes"

I live in Richmond Hill and commute to downtown Toronto on a daily basis. The car has H&R with 1.2mm drop. The car is very "livable"....with the ride surprisingly very comfortable. The car does have PASM and is a Carrera S. Cheers.

1.2 what? 1.2 inches - too much. 1.2cm OK. I'm sure you dont mean 1.2mm.

Oops you are correct, 1.2 cm in the rear and 1.3 in the front with 7mm spacers for the back wheels.

so 12mm? that's fine.

To OP, also not sure if your H&R is 1.2 inches or 1.2cm/12mm? Also, drop from PASM or non-PASM height?

Yup. Do 10-20mm, 0.4-0.8 inches. I honestly don't think you need to go any lower than 10mm (PASM), it looks PERFECT and you have a very easy life on the street and can totally not worry about scraping.
