I hear more PDK users floor their car on a regular basis... because they have nothing else to do.

As often as I am able. Pedal goes to floor, resonance flap opens up, rear wiggles a bit, shifts to second, wiggles again (PSD light stay on scrambling to keep traction) and away we go!

If you have never ever floored your car then you are driving the wrong car.

the problem with flooring it is passing the speed limit in just a matter of seconds...

It really sucks on the streets because if you go over the gears, the speed can be waaayyy over the limit... I dont have a speeding ticket, EVER, even when i had my 10sec street driven 620awhp Lancer Evolution...

I intend to keep it this way so flooring it is quite rare, maybe with the exception of the on and off ramps sometimes...

Can't wait to hit the track however in a few weeks!!!

It's an interesting question in light of the price of fuel today in the USA. When I did it in Europe several years ago and was above 180 mph on the Autobahn, I could literally watch the fuel level dropping! At about $95 a fill up in those days in Europe I learned to be more in control of my right foot!

Sure!

Wife overlooking my computer says: "Yes. What a crazy question."

Default Pedal to the metal...

I drive it hard, flat out... I cringe when I see people lugging these beautiful engines that are so ready to run! I try and keep the revs up in the 4500 - 6000 range once the oil temp is up. It's a different style of driving if you've come from another car but that's where the fun is! Keep it pedal to the metal and you'll experience the true fun of these cars Sadly, in the city, I don't get out of 2nd gear that much...

No, because we like to feel the positive fast upshifts.

Default Time for me to come clean with you guys.

I have not floored it in the last 10 minutes.

Sorry.

I do plan on running some errands in about an hour and will commit to flooring it then.
