This addiction to Porsche and performance is clearly getting the best of me.
Thanks for not liking your cats AWay. I'll see you tomorrow.

Last car was a 360 with sport cats and Tubi, so I'm looking for a bit more volume out of this 997.

Might have to give the cat bypass a whirl as I should be able to tame it a bit with the PSE if need be.

Anyone else have a hell of a hard time explaining to folks that you are spending thousands of dollars to change the way your car sounds??

Yeah, that's one thing I do like about the PSE is the ability to moderate as necessary; makes me a bit more willing to experiment with alternatives as well.

Funny... AWay is looking for more volume, and I'm worried that the cats might be too much volume.
It is fun to play however. I figure worst case, I just bolt up the originals.

The package has been delivered. Nice meeting you AWay.
I'm going to see what success I have at the install once the stock cat's cool a bit.

Pleasure Derek. Your car is going to sound sweet between the Borlas and X-Pipe! Can't wait to hear it.

Give a shout if you need any assistance.

Ok I've got the old stuff off, and I'm trying to get the O2 sensors back in before bolting up the X-Pipe. The wire doesn't seem anywhere near long enough... Help!

Disconnect the other end of the O2 sensors from their plugs on either side of the car. (Behind the tail light area) This allows the wires to twist freely when removing the O2 sensors instead of getting tangled. The wires are held in little plastic clips to keep them nice and organized but one on each side needs to sit outside of it's little clips simply for the extra length.

Hope that makes some sense.

For anyone considering this installation, there is no need to remove the bumper, no need to remove the tires. Just lay on the ground and git 'er done. Hardest part was getting to the O2 sensors and breaking them loose. (Do that before you take the cats down)
