Default 997 C2S cold tire pressures (on track)?

I will be taking my 997.1 C2S to the track for the first time in a few weeks and was wondering if some experienced drivers could provide me with some approximate target cold and hot tire pressures. I'm used to a front engined car on Hoosiers and am now going to be in my 997 on pilot sport cups. So between the new car and the different tires, I could use a rough starting point from which to experiment.

Thanks!

If you're running Sport Cups you'll be interested in this brochure from Michelin, if you haven't seen it already.

http://www.michelinman.com/media/en-...p_Brochure.pdf

Target hot pressure on these tires for optimum grip is 32F 36R. For autocrossing I start at cold pressures of 30F 34R as I'm generally not on course long enough to generate as much heat for the first run or two, then I start to bleed off pressure from there to keep it in the 32-36 range.

On a road course you'll get heat in the tires much more quickly. I think the brochure mentions starting at 25-28 cold and once the tires get up to temp making adjustments from there if necessary.

My tires, whether PSCups or RA1s go up about 12 to 14 PSI depending on which wheel. Highest is driver's rear followed by driver's front, then passenger rear and finally front. It might be +13 / +14 / + 13 / + 12 (give or take 1-2 PSI depending on the day).

I target about 35 hot front and 36 hot rear, so my tires are very low when I start the day.

Thanks Ron. Do you still have those RA1s for sale? If so, what condition are they in?
