Just bringing up this old thread - does anyone have a pic of a 997 with alcantara console that they can share?

Thanks

The alcantara console and the cubby, like you might find on the gt3. I would buy the porsche part you can get somewhere like Suncoast, or have one recovered to replace my existing one.

I'd go painted console with Alcantara cubby.

I have the same red gauges in my 997 C2S....they look exactly like yours. It's funny, but they are factory installed but they don't look as clean as you would think they should as a factory option. Do you feel the same or am I just too picky?

I have the Porsche Alcantara Rear Console in my 997.2 GT3 It is a really nice piece to have if you're into Alcantara, which clearly I am....

Don't do it! Instead paint it, then add alcantara bits and pieces, would look way nicer that way and also lasts longer.

Will the Alcantara wear out 100% quicker?

Only if it's 5 times smaller.

How much experience do you have with Alcantara in Porsches?

My GT3 has 33,000 miles on it and the wear is very minimal even on the steering wheel, door pulls, console lid and shifter ****. I doubt leather would look nearly as good unless you wore white gloves...
