Decided to take the cars out for a photoshoot. Don't mind my awesome photoshop, aka Paint skills.. lol

My gawd, that's a lot of brick in the 416 McMansion zone. We miss that stuff in the west.

^^ In Vancouver, they don't use brick? Property over there is super expensive so I figure they at least give you brick, if not stone.

Lol... good one!

No, we don't get brick! crappy wood constructed houses for $1M+ mostly due to influx of asian money funneling down to Vancouver!

I guess we don't have the right kind of clay to make brick (I don't understand the inputs). Brick becomes scarce in homes once you get west of Winnipeg.

In Calgary it appears as a trim feature on front fascias but on the coast it gets even more rare. Stucco is the prevailing finish in new construction now.

I was a kid in the 416, yet when I return on business or vacation I'm always suprised by all that brick - gives a very different presence.

Canada and US must be similar, you don't see much brick in California either.

Cool but do you realize that you cut off part of your car in all but one photo?
