Default Ferrari FF, gunning for Porsche?

Don't know if you guys have seen this but here's the official video for the new Ferrari FF which debuts next at the Geneva auto show. Was definately impressed at seeing a Ferrari tackle the snow and dunes with such aplomb but is it me or does this look like a Ferarri Italia 458 with a VW Sirocco hatch/rear? Who is Ferrari gunning for with this one...the Panamera? 911? Or Cayenne maybe?

Anyway enjoy the link.

Enzo takes one more roll in his grave...my guess is that the FF will be use more on sand than ice.

Screw Enzo - this looks like a great car.
Can't wait for it to be available on the used market - maybe I'll have kids by then....

Gotta say that looks one hell of a car for us dads with a cabin in the mountains, 3 passengers and a decent amount of gear. Though definitely second hand (ok, probably third-hand) at my budget. Panamera or M5 Touring seem to be the closest rivals. But nowhere near the same price point.

Front is attractive and so is the interior but that rear is awful. Never was a fan of the Z3 Coupe and this looks like a copyh of it.

But I'm sure many will be clamoring to buy one since it seats four and has the Ferrari badge. Personally I would choose an A8S or S63

at its (predicted) price, I can get a Panamera turbo and a GT3 all day long, and both will look better as well.

The target market for this car cares not about GT3's, nor trade in value, nor money.

Unlike Panameras you won't see a dozen lined up in front of the dealer, and another dozen in the back...nor another six picking up the kids from private school.
Limited editions, limited market......and you can't argue with Ferrari's success

Doesnt that apply to all car makers that are actually in business ?

Or is there some huge pile of scrapped brand new cars somewhere ?

Everything will move at the right price

Default I LOVE THIS

I can't wait for it to tank in the secondary market so I can afford one LOL. Call me crazy but I would rock this every day picking my boy up from school. I actually wish they took the ferrari badge off it and put something more pedestrian on it so I could afford a new one. If it said Porsche on it i would trade my RR in right now for it. I would take this over the Panny all day

what is Ferrari gunning for? Money- especially from the status conscience consumer living in places like CHina, ME, etc.
