Default Hard to find blue 997s?

Looking for a 2007-08 c2s or c4s in cobalt or midnight blue in manaul with less than 20k miles. These seem extremely hard to find. I am checking autotrader, ebay, and porsche used car search. Any suggestions where to look? What is the average search time for an ideal carrera?

I have seen quite a few 2009's in blue available for sale. Helluva engine upgrade and the prices for a (now) 3 year old 2009 are not that bad.

cars.com allows you to filter 911>07/08>blue. There are quite a few examples that meet your criteria, although you might have to be flexible on location.

Cobalt Blue was fairly popular on the 997s when they first came out. Replaced in the 997.2 cars with Aqua Blue. I believe Aqua was on one of the 997.2 launch car versions. Still, in the grand scheme of things, there are not that many blue 997s out there.

Don't rush it, you will regret it for many years if you settle for a car just because it's available right away. It may take a few months.

I went 2 years before I found the Midnight Blue Cab I wanted. Looked at and dismissed a bunch.
Don't rush things...Don't jump on the first blue one you see. Evaluate carefully.

Also there's a pretty big difference between a C2S and a C4S in the way they drive and feel.... have you driven both yet?
You probably should narrow it down to one or the other.

I like Midnight Blue. Depending on angle, it throws off a blue tone...

There is a lot of good advice in this thread, but I consider this the best.
If this is your dream car, be patient, do your research and hold out for exactly what you want.
It's out there, I guarantee it.

+1

When I was shopping for my C4S, I wanted Midnight Blue Metallic with a Natural Brown Leather interior. It took me about 6 months to find one, and I had to go to California to get it. Looking back, I'm glad I waited and got the one I wanted.

How about a technically brand-new 2009 C2S in Aqua Blue with PDK for maybe a little more $$$ than an 2008?

To be honest it is really hard to be patience, I drive one and I am like what if I can drive this thing everyday. I am being patience, it just seems like it would be a black swan to find the color combo/options/6 speed/miles for the price I want. Blue definitely seems more of the exotic color for these cars. I guess you can say its my dream car; I've always wanted one since I was about 10 years old and now I can finally comfortably afford one. I currently have an M3 and I am also kind of attached to that car as well, for some reason I am considering even keep it with the 911. Things people do for passion!
