I'd be a bit worried about this still. I've heard they have some bugs with the unit and it works after install but 30-60 days later there are issues and take a lot of cycles to fix.
no affiliation but i did use them in the past for an XM install on a previous version of the PCM

Yeah just ordered the kit and dropped off my car at the dealer 1 week ago only to find out the Nav-TV kit is only compatible with certain versions of PCM 3.0 and you have to check a code to see what version of your PCM is running. If it says Active System on the screen then this module will not work and installers are instructed to NOT PROCEED with the install and return the units to NAV-TV. So much for that ray of hope/option. Sucks...
they are asking the supplier as well.

Take your PCM and turn it on. Press the info and source buttons at the same time. If they system shows Active system in the upper left corner then it is incompatible with the Nav-TV solution at this time. It will also tell you the version of PCM 3.0 you're running too. I am running v 2.24 I believe.

Note: before you epoxy, make sure you rough up both surface areas then clean thoroughly with alcohol (beer doesn't count...)

Yes, I encountered the station stick almost immediately after dealer installed it. It's happened a couple times since but now I know to stop the car, turn off the ignition for a bit, I open the driver door, close it and start the car back up and it's back to normal. I put up with it now as it really doesn't happen that often. Only once in a blue moon.

they THINK it is a voltage thing and will fix it when they can. they have alot installed so they are hoping it is a software issue but if it is hardware then replace. the fault is apprarently not their product so i doubt you will see a fre swap out.
i think i am removing mine and taking the hit.
no more NAV TV products for me - piece of crap.

could anybody who has this sat radio tell me - if you do get 'traffic messages' - does it show up in the navigation screen and on a map? does car actually use those traffic messages to recompute navigation route to avoid bad traffic?

Traded my 997S in and got a 997C4S with factory Sat radio and NAV. Better fix and works 100% of time. 4 me at least. Good luck gents.
