Just picked up my GTS last night and got a couple pics before dark. Then a 2 hr shake down cruise- very impressed. My last 997 was a .1 turbo and this feels a lot lighter yet still peppy and well balanced. I prefer the powerband and sound of the NA engine and it's plenty powerful enough and I haven't taken it above 5k rpm. I was worried about the sport suspension and it's firm but not harsh or jarring. Very driveable and comfortable even on crummy roads. I love the alcantara- wow, nice soft feel and hope it holds up. The Nav is better and bluetooth works great. My only disappointment so far was getting the Bridgestone tires- prefer the PS2's- oh well. Looking forward to a nice road trip now.

Wow you have a great car! Did you get 6speed or PDK?
I have the Sport PASM on my 09 Carrera S and love it. It is a factory compromise street/track suspension...Porsche did a great job with it. ENJOY!

Thanks everyone! I'm in Greensboro and Foreign Cars had only one allocation for a coupe that I got in November for a January build, completed Feb 13th, 9 days over to Charleston then next day and pdi in NC. It's a 6 speed manual- my last 2 had the sport shift option which was a shorter, stiffer shift. This has a slightly longer throw but smooth as butter. Too bad work is getting in the way of driving...
