I'd agree with purrybonker above. And Blue with Natural Grey leather (almost black) would be my first choice.

Mine's close; Arctic Silver and Cocoa. I really like it. Color is the single most personal choice on a new car and always the hardest decision for me to make. You've got to go with what touches you, not what the guy parked next to you or some prospective owner will like.

Blue is no longer available in the standard colour selection. Take your time and find the one you like - don't worry about resale, it doesn't really make a difference unless it's wacky.

Do like I did; spend many hours looking at 911s on the internet until you find one that you really like, then order one in that color combo. On the left is the picture of a turbo cab that I found online before I bought my car, which made me decide on basalt black/natural brown with black carpet. On the right is my car. The lighting is different but the colors are identical (except I got black instrument dials).

I am in the market for 07-08 carrera S and I was wondering which color combos are most desired? I just had a cobalt blue with beige interior get bought while I was test driving the car when I was at the dealership, really ticked me off to be honest.
Anyway I am looking at some black on black and blue on black carreras. Definately seems to me that it is alot harder to find any shade of blue compared to black. Any suggestions?

Pick the color you want.
Especially if this is a car you've been looking forward to for a while, don't compromise.
Aside from that, seriously consider Natural Brown Leather interior - it's stunning in person.
Am I the only nut who likes Macadamia exterior and Natural Brown interior? (pun somewhat intended)

I am willing to spend around 60 or so with less than 20k miles, manual only. stevepow, looks like a nice car but its pdk. I have driven these and yes they are fast, but its just not for me, I like to be more involved with the driving expirence.
I have found one that is 2007 c2s baltic blue on black w sport exhuast, chrono, turbo wheels, with 12k miles for 57k. Does this price sound about right?

Oh, sorry - yes that one was just terrifically equipped, but yes, a good deal out of your price range. Keep a look out for a non-PDK 997.2 non-"S". Same power as 997.1 and more warranty - a few more $$$, but probably worth it. And going with a manual should save a few $$$ too.

Porsche color stylists spent a lot of time looking for colors that can complement each other. It's almost impossible to put together a bad look. And sometimes you have to be a little adventurous!
You're routinely not going to find much of anything on the used car market that isn't silver with black leather interior. Or black on black. Or possibly basalt black over brown.

good example of '08 "S" level prices on an '09 Carrera - not bad options either...the color combo is "southeastern conservative", or "classic james bond". perhaps ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
And CPO'd out to 6 years....

Is it close to cobalt, or darker?
