Default What winter?

Just got back from a really nice drive. Don't want to rub it in (too much ) but a beautiful day here; breaking temperature records that have stood for 50 years. My car and I send sympathies to our brothers and sisters elsewhere still stuck in winter.

(picture unavailable due to car being buried under 2 covers, a tarp, an electric blanket, and hermetically sealed with a rust-proofing, road-salt-repelling, gel)

Mark Twain was engaging in a little hyperbole. Anyway, I'm actually north of SF in the wine country where summers are definitely warmer than winter, usually. But at least at SF's AT&T park, home of the World Champion Giants, who I believe kicked a little Texas butt last fall, there's no ice sliding off the roof endangering the patrons!

We had plenty of rain and bad weather from Oct until recently, thank you. CA is supposed to have great weather and that's the way it is. The price we pay is dealing with all the lunatics governing, err... bankrupting the state.

I might as well "pile on" for our Snowmaggedon brothers in dicier climes...brought the new GTS to our Santa Barbara Region PCA Breakfast this AM at Camarillo Airport. There were 99 Porsches there, including a hot red 1987 street-legal 959!

On the way home we ventured over to PCH just to make sure the Pacific Ocean was still as blue as we remembered it. It was.
(Sorry, that last part was just uncalled for.)

The valence is black from using the after-burners.
Where were you this morning?
I think you were the only club member not there.

Have a BUNCH of things I'm trying to get caught up with in town--plus the rear tires on the Carrera Sports are getting thinner than I like to make the run on 101. Have a set of Fuchs Racing wheels coming in early next week. Will see you guys at Rusnak the evening of the 10th.

On a $100k car you save $10k, which here feed the gluttony of our Sacramento civil servants.
