Default Took my spacers off

I took the 5mm spacers off my front wheels yesterday. The look wasn't doing it for me, and removing the wheels gave me a good opportunity to clean the wheel wells.

I prefer the look without the spacers, and believe it or not, the steering feels lighter. I don't think it's in my head, either.

I washed my car yesterday and was glad to have the extra 1/4 in clearance around the front brakes for cleaning. I also think a spacer might even be a necessity for those carrying a spare.

I can't tell anything different about the steering feel and can barely notice the look - but I have 18s - maybe with 19s and an "S" with lower suspension, the difference is more pronounced?

Kudos to you though - and your Avatar! - some people go way overboard with rear spacers and offsets that leave the car looking set up like a Jeep Wrangler.

I hadn't thought about that. Good point.

5mm isnt much one way or the other. I dont really see why they offer that as an option. For $300
10mm maybe.

I know what you mean, until you see an A/B comparison. I bought mine aftermarket, so they were more reasonably priced.

I left the 14mm ones on the back, though.
