First test drive tomorrow

First test drive tomorrow
Hi;
Finally starting the process with some test drives scheduled for tomorrow (it better not snow !). Hoping to take a C, CS, C4S, and GTS out tomorrow. Based on the near obsessive reading I've been doing, I'm thinking that the C4S or the GTS will be the one I end up with. The car is going to be used as a second car, mostly for weekend and fun (2 kids for the backseats, so no GT3). I've searched a bit, but if anyone has any additional advice or recommendations to give, please let me know. I'm also wondering what kind of discounts I can expect off of MSRP.
Thanks !

Make a list of options/colors that interest you and ask the salesrep to show you cars that have them. C4S and GTS are different cars. Because of the awd, the steering/handling feel is very different. C2 is lighter than C4, so it would feel lighter moving from a stop, but would also not feel as "planted" in the corners as the C4. One more advice: do not settle for a "close enough" car on the lot. If you have to order and wait for the one you trully want, do it.

Consider the GTS as it has an x-51 engine and some nice detail work.
Also check out a PDK car. I found it to be very responsive to inputs and an interesting option.
Do you really need AWD?

Ditto on the difference between Carrera(S) and 4(S) and manual to PDK.
I chose the CS manual originally, and now also have a 4S with the Tip ('08 so no PDK). The 4S is wife's car but I drive it as much as my S just to to savor the differences.
You will know which one appeals to your sensory biases. Same goes for the options; my S is much "sportier" than the 4S which has multi-function wheel, full leather, lighted doorsills, etc. Be sure to spend some seat time in standard, sport and ***. You'll know which one fits your body geometry best soon enough.
Different environments but both are oh-so-sweet.
Enjoy!

Are you considering the C4S for it's wider body or for it's planted driving dynamics ?
If it's just the looks then please be sure to look into the GTS.
It was my understanding that the GTS comes standard without rear seats which could be added as a no cost option. I am right ? Or is that just outside North America (NA). Can't you option a GTS without rear seats in NA.
Full leather is a must in my opinion and please decide if you want manual or PDK. Both are great, it's what YOU like and want that matters. Don't be in a hurry please.

In North America, rear seats are standard although they can be removed as an option (not sure why you'd do this since you can remove them after delivery and then you have them for later if you want). Europe is the opposite.
