Rear PS 2's. SHould i replace it?

if they have less than 50% of tread left - yes, if not - not sure, it is difficult to see how deep this scuff is. it is pretty close to the rim, changes of it to contact with anything are slim imho.

I think you should replace it, not because of the "chip," but because the tread (as little as I can see in the pic) looks quite worn.

Keep going and double check your AAA is up to date imho.
Take a look at a few in the shop - tires are quite thick and that looks 1-2mm deep at most.

Take a good clear picture & measure the dimensions (length, width & depth) & send it to the technical department @ Michelin ( http://www.michelinman.com/contact/ ). If they don't give you a clear answer (which is rare) ding them on the satisfaction survey & you will get a call from them & you can discuss it further. Only Michelin knows what beneath that hole & the safety that may be compromised.

Im taking it to the dealer where i bought the wheel/tire insurance. Lets see what they say. Thanks!

If you have tire insurance why bother to ask us here? Besides, I already know what the tire insurance guys are going to tell you. Your tread depth is too low--you have no warranty remaining.
