Default 2008 911 C2 FS - seems like a good price

Guys,

This ad seems legit, but I'm wondering if this price seems low or about right? I know that 2006 C2S Cabs that I have been looking at go for in the $50's (call it low $50's for non-cpo).

So this is a newer 2008, looks nice, but with no S and no Cab options. What is your opinion on the price? It looks tempting to me. And I'm pretty darn sure I haven't seen any 2008's in this condition in this price range.

Fyi, I have no affiliation with this add, and who knows, it could have been in 10 accidents and floods! But for now, let's make the assumption no such hidden issues...

Manhiem shows a 08 C2 with 19K went through on 12/10 and brought 48500.
Good options, as long as VIN and PPI check its a decent buy IMHO.

I have no useful comments, but :

Why in the world do people think it's a good idea to put the spoiler up when they take pictures? It looks so goofy.

And good lord our cars sit really high :

Ad title says "S", but clearly it is not. Fishy.

Call me crazy but doesn't the S have larger front brakes?

S cars sit lower I believe (perhaps non S do if you have the appropriate options). that probably explains why its high.

calipers are not painted. (which is indicative of non S)

Its not an S since it has the small brakes. this car is as fishy as it can get. Btw. who puts his 911 on G-list anyways?!

its on 6peedonline reduced to 44.5k. does seem cheap. There is also a 07 c2 with 50k miles for sale at the local LR dealer for under 40k...

I wouldn't make any assumptions. I've been seriously burned in the past when buying used cars. Better to have a good mechanic thoroughly check it out first.
