Default Colorado Dealerships

So i've heard through the rumor mill that Porsche of Boulder (where I bought and service my 997) is shutting down.

Has anyone else heard this?

The website still works - http://www.porscheofboulder.com/
The Porsche USA site does not list Porsche of Boulder in it's "Find a Dealer" lookup for the Denver area.

Interesting stuff...

This is true. Lost their agreement (or whatever it is called) from Porsche North America.

Would it be in bad taste to bring politics into this thread? Seems to me like poetic justice for boulder to lose any businesses.

Yes, I think it is quite bad taste, actually. I didn't patronize this dealership because I have others much closer. However, in the current economic climate it seems in very bad taste to even indirectly smirk about the closing of any business (well, maybe except Colorado's now-ubiquitous marijuana 'clinics'), which translates into loss of jobs and livelihood for some hard-working people and their families.

It was longer ago than that.
I believe it was 2006 that Stammler Porsche closed and Porsche of Boulder opened as part of the Gebhardt Group.

I bought my car from Porsche of Boulder in October of 2006.

Was really just curious if anyone had any information on why it closed.
