Default HTC EVO bluetooth issues with PCM 3.0

I'm running PCM v.1.40, and am in desperate need of a solution to fix issues with my HTC EVO using '09 OEM PCM 3.0 bluetooth. When I make or receive a call the phone connects, shows the elapsed time on the PCM, but I nor the person I'm talking too hears anything, been driving me crazy. I had issues with my new '11 Dodge RAM Uconnect which were easily resolved by disabling phone book syncing, doing this with PCM solves nothing.

My evo works just fine in my 09S. No complaints from me or people I talk to.
Try deleting and re pairing.

Done that many times, 3 different EVO's same problem. What PCM 3.0 firmware version are you running?

Just got the new HTC EVO Shift(slide out keypad) to replace my EVO, and the bluetooth now works flawlessly.

Also, I did multiple Quadrant benchmark tests & was surprised to see the new 800MHz EVO Shift processor blew away the EVO's 1GHz processor 1617 vs. 1122.

Do you have 4g where you are? We don't have it where we are in Needham yet.
Glad the problem was solved.
Haven't seen the shift yet.

The EVO Shift's official release is Sunday. 4G is only a few towns away, & moving closer, should be available to me very soon.
