I also don't care what the blue book is on it. I think they make those numbers up as they go along. When you trade in they check their black book, when you buy, its the blue book, when you need service they probably have a green book.
They have one book with low prices for trades and another with high prices for listing. The Austin dealer is usually pretty good but not sure how they feel about out-of-state buyers - sometimes that's the problem. Much easier to negotiate when they buyer is "captive" in the showroom.

As an owner of two porsches I hope they get the 58K....I hate to see these cars given away for nothing.

IMO prices are on the upswing. I went to my dealer for the winter driving event and asked about a "S" they had on lot. They offered me 2K more for my base carrera then they did in July when i last was there also shopping for an "S". Prices will continue to rise. Inventory is down and economy is getting better.
