Yes, I hear it will be more of the front engined successor. It will most likely be the 2 door coupe based on the Panamera platform. Hopefully it will be as beautiful as some of the images that made their rounds on the web.

VW has a goal of increasing Porsche WW sales to over 100K/annually.

the next model porsche introduces should be a high volume seller. a car above the 911 is not that
