Carerra GTS in Black
Hi,
not a fan of white cars, is anyone getting the gts in black? I know the launch car is in white but wondering if the GTS specific body work still stands out on a black car
Thinking of black on black, leather ( alcantara does not wear well, IMo) , *** seats, rear seats, nave, BT, ipod etc
Only place I am considering alcantarta is the wheel, any suggestions here?
Thx

I'm sure it would look awesome in black, for several hours after washing at least!
Alcantera on the wheel will wear rather quickly.
Do you have a dealer with an open allocation for a GTS ?
What's BT? Bi-Turbos? Now that's cool!

I had Alcantera on my 2006 M3 Competition and after 14k miles had my steering wheel replaced due to wear. I actually hated that wheel, after few thousand mile it wears out, at least on my BMW, can't say how it will be on your GTS.

IMO, Alcantera on anything you touch, sit on, or look at will look ratty after a year or so. (OK, skip the "look at" part )
Personally, I wouldn't have Alcantera on anytihing except the roof liner. (Just be careful of foot prints up there! )

Remember, black isn't a colour...it's a commitment.
