Oooh, a Black one. Should be über cool! Sidestrips delete a good call on the Black, too.
My order is for Platinum Silver Metallic, but all the car's predecessors have been Black, so yours sounds really good to me. Congratulations!

aashish84, Looks like its going to be a great build. It is always fun to see how different owners put their cars together. Its what makes a Porsche a Porsche. There is no right or wrong way, its your way and that is how it should be. Sometimes we see posts where others without saying it try and tell the world its there way or the highway... Who knows what the future holds for the GTS, its a great looking car with enough unique features its going to stand out. Having owned Porsches for over 30 years IMO the GTS is the best Carrera ever. Best of luck and enjoy the ride...

Have you guys considered adding the "dashboard trim strip in Alcatara" to your orders? On the 3D configurator it looks like it helps tie-in all the other alcantara bits with the dashboard better.
Just a suggestion from the jealous audience.

As previously posted it is last reported my current Porsche status code is PLPROD which is Planned For Production. The dealers have a numbering system which on the last update they sent me it was 20. I don't pay much attention to planned completion dates as cars move forward and back. My next status should be PROD Vehicle In Production. I don't ask the dealer for updates they just send them to me so as I am updated I will continue to post here.

Got a "spy shot" through a guy, who knows a guy with a digital camera, who possibly got let in by a guy who let him take this pic of a couple of GTS cars getting prepped for what I don't know.
But, hey, it's a shot of two new Carrera GTSs. The yellow one looks like it's not Speed Yellow, and it appears to be sportin' an Aero Kit, complete with honkin' wing.
It's just fun to see a GTS in a color other than the Carrara White.
I would guess this might have something to do with the L.A. Auto Show, but the European plates don't make sense in that context.
