Default easy fix

This is an easy fix, your in the minority liking Black over silver so get the car and simply offer out someone an easy swap your silver gauges for their black... I can almost guarantee you will get a taker.

Many with Black (come on base stock none S cars) would prefer the silver....more then the reverse.

Done....pay dealer for the swap (few hundred bucks) and thats it....

I bought silver, swapped out my black and sold my black on ebay for the price I bought silver set up for...

Porsche simply gives us the option of spending more money on cosmetic stuff (I think it should be re-spelled "COSTMETIC" stuff).

If you want it, simply hand over the money.

And, if you're going to swap gauge faces, don't forget the chrono.

Default or not

The silver chrono really is pronounced IMO, much preferred keeping it black, having it blend into the dash a bit more then if colored and having the wart be less attention getting. To each there own....

Mine came from the factory with the "Instrument dials in Carrara White" (MNR code XFJ) however the Sports Chrono dial is black. After six years of ownership & until I checked it after reading this post I would have sworn the Sports Chrono dial was white. I guess if I had used the Chrono more I would have remembered the dial's color.
