Sport Chrono has limited impact on the performance of the manual transmission car. However, SC does have a big impact on a PDK car, as it remaps shift points for the PDK transmission.

I would also look for a car with PSE. The sound is intoxicating and it works great in conjunction with Sports Chrono. Also, if I had to do it again, I would have chosen a car with PCCB. The difference in braking is quite noticeable and the yellow calipers are just too cool 
Having said that, it took me 6+ months to find the car with ALL options I wanted. Just be prepared to be patient....
