Default GTS order

Just got word from my dealer that the estimated completion date on my order is Dec 1st. It would be nice to get it over the Christmas break.

Congratulations. You can let me know about the Sport Suspension and how it rides when you get it.

Wish I could have picked up your ("outgoing") C63 for my wife. That thing must have been a hoot!

I'll keep an eye out for a white GTS if I'm up that way.

I haven't unloaded the C63 yet. It's my DD so I was going to trade it for the GTS. And it IS a hoot. On the way to daycare my kids are like "Go FASTER, daddy!".

CONGRATS! I'm in position #2 at the same dealer, thanks to the help of one Mr. Gravedgr. We have the same color (carrara white) but I got PDK and passed on the SPASM. My build date is roughly 2 weeks later. Much thanks to everyone here for good advice; I was strongly considering PCCBs but went conservative on the build.

brt3. I would reconsider the SPASM...I really believe that the GTS will need a sporty and comfortable suspension like SPASM to fully complete the car.

So, you're not obligated for the order? Like if you can't trade-in your car with the right value, you can walk away?

+1. A GTS must have SPASM.

I've put down a deposit and signed an agreement that the dealer can keep it if I walk away, but I would only expect that if I had some custom order that they would have trouble selling. The paperwork protects them.

If I don't get a reasonable trade (I'm sure I will - I'm a repeat customer they've treated well), I'll just sell the AMG.
