What's wrong with your wheels?

Stick with the 18" Carerra Classics.

The ride is better, the tires are cheaper and it's a simple, timeless look.

Resist the temptation to go ghetto with your wheels.

Ya Im sticking with the 18's. Already went kinda Ghetto thought. I love it and its exactly the look I want. Tint, gundo hack, and the Denison are up next. All pretty simple mods.

Default wheels are a must

Congrats.... and good call on a swap of the wheels, IMO it is the best call you could make on a base 997 with 18's.... any of the 19's Porsche wheels will look much much better then base stockers... May consider some spacers as well for that perfect stance depending on what wheel you go with....Great color and exactly how mine looked the day I brought it home; right down to the wheels.....I had wheels already waiting to be mounted before I even picked up the car

(maybe keep the stockers in case you ever get into some driving events as they are practical?)

Maybe you will just do wheels/or stay stock as some have noted (and that is great....) but caution.... once you start modding/upgrading it can get hard to stop...here is my base 997 05 car a few years later...

again congrats on your new to you 997..... best of luck with it.

(not PCCB brakes here)
