hi guys as stated above, i was wondering how hard would it be for me to paint the center console in my 997.1 to car color?

My car has a leather console, but I have seen many painted by BumperPlugs. Call them for the logistics.

 

Bumperplugs is excellent. They will do a core exchange with you.

 

This look great, but it is not a painted center console, rather a painted gear shift trim. Regardless, it looks very nice.

I just emailed you Eric. Very nice pics. Btw I forgot to mention that my car has a full leather interior so I am not sure if the center console is amenable to painting?

 

The "Full Leather" option does NOT include a leather rear center console. That is another option which must be selected. If your rear center console does not have stitching on it, then it is not leather. Eric's stuff is A+++ quality.

Is there a difference between the center console where the shifter is and the rear center console, or is it all one piece? My car is Midnight blue metallic so I am thinking of having it painted that color. I am a little concerned about the install since I am not very mechanically inclined. I guess I could always bring the part to a dealer and let them install it at $125 per hour.

 

I got mine from Eric and the quality was factory. I tried to do it myself but found it to be too much of a pain and ended up having the dealer do for me. Getting the shifter off was a pain and I didn't want to break anything.

It's all one piece from where the shifter is to where the hindge for the storage compartment is.

I got mine from Eric. There are step by step instructions on line that are very good. Took me about 3-4 hours.

 

wow that is beautiful. I just talked to him today. I am thinking of getting all the dash board accents including the cup holders, and the rings around the lights and key hole and probably the strip under the shifter.
