Default OT: And I thought we were well into fire season...
...and with nothing yet--till today. Apparently a bird struck a power line and immediately dropped to the ground and started a fire. They have it out now--two choppers dropped water from a nearby reservoir.

I remember scenes like that living in Temecula, pretty scary watching the fire line get closer and closer to civilization.
