This morning I turned on the radio, but had no sound. Tried NAV same result.
Signal comes in for radio and NAV, but no sound. Did a search and read about locking and unlocking car, no luck. Any ideas befor I go to the dealer. Car is '06
S still under warranty. Oh by the way I checked the mute setting.

 

Is your radio set to Traffic mode?

 

Pull the red 10amp fuse in the drivers footwell fuse box. Bottom row, 2nd from the far right. Let it sit for about 30 mins and put it back in. Hard reboot of the MOST loop may work......

 

DItto on reboot. (These things are essentially computers these days). If you wish, report it and get the dealer to replace it while your warranty is in effect. (I'm on number two PCM myself).

 

09 radio a few weeks back it just stopped sound for no reason- couldnt change to cd or ipod would not change mode or produce a sound- turned car on turned off no change

went about my business parked for work when i came back it was back to normal hasnt happened before or since

 

Went to the dealer. He did a reboot and everything is working fine. I did learn that non Bose system has an internal amp. If it goes again they said they would replace the entire PCM. Warranty
is a wonderful thing

 

With these cars, warranty is everything.
