Very interesting article series though I take everything written with a grain of salt.

I found it an interesting read. Porsche is not a faultless company and has made some pretty good blunders. These articles point out some of those misadventures.

fwiw, Jack Baruth has been an automotive writer for quite some time now and has an intentionally 'controversial' style.

Funny, I know of a very early '99 with over 200,000km on it. Mostly track. Original engine and it's still running ok.

I think people can own a particular brand of car and yet still be critical about its shortcomings. At least I hope so.
