Something which can only be appreciated by seeing both cars in the metal I suppose.
The "wide ***" thing has been blown way out of proportion, IMO. The wide body cars are 1.73 inches, or 2.4%, wider than the narrow body cars. I guess it all depends on one's perspective.

The way everyone talks about how wide they are, you would swear that you will never be able to fit them in a 8 foot wide garage door.

Good one, Doc!

BTW, my comment was not meant to "dis" your car or the C4S in general. It is sweet looking and I would gladly own one if I could. Maybe some day.......

Try walking into a dealer and once you spot it, then I think you will be able to see it easier...
I've owned both narrowbody and widebody 997s and I have a tough time spotting the difference. I have to look from juuuuust the right angle and even then it's a minor and subtle difference. I don't really understand why so many people make such a big deal out of it.

+1 on the mirrors in just the correct position to really appreciate the hips.

Nice article on mirror adjustment. I am going to give it a try.
The information that people offer in this forum never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks

Edgy - I think all the launch cars were pretty loaded - PDK, nav, BT, XM, etc.
Yeah makes you wonder though why the hell they left off NAV with the launch 997S cars....like MINE! LOL

Great looking car though...almost bought one but dealer was asking too much (back in Jan 2009) and wouldn't give me enough back on my 09 Boxster snafu.

Enjoy!
