+3 Premier Garage. Why bother with ANYTHING ELSE ? You won't regret it ! Easy maintenance, durable wear, no lifting by hot tires, impervious to oil, gas leakage, and beautiful terrrazo floor appearance.

What does it cost? What can you spill on it without damaging it? It you spill something serious on a tile floor (brake fluid, oil based solvents, whatever), you pop the tiles out and for $3.75 per tile, you repair it like new. How about this stuff?

+4 Premier Garage.
I'm on 4 years and it still looks brand new.
It's simply the best.

I've had Race Deck on my floor for four years now. It's holding up great, and while the whites get dirty, they mop up pretty well.

I did tile from Griots. Its held up to me dropping tools, brake fluid, oil, diff & gear box oil, and coolant w/o being damaged. Wipes right off.

Do the tiles stay in place do they move any? Does the floor creak and pop when driving on or walking on. Guess I am wondering are they a solid feeling substrate.

They gave me a quote for $2.95 sq ft is this in line for other types of snap in floors.

Wanting to upgrade my garage thought about DYI epoxy but starting to feel it maybe a bad ideal for me.

The snap in floor looks good thought about putting real alum check plate down but felt it would be too bright and subject to scratches. I own a sheet metal company we put a floor in Mark Martins Ford Dealership a Mini museum for his race cars. Check it outbox my website does anyone think this would look good on floor. Each tile would have to be fastened with countersunk stainless tap con screw. www.rjsm-inc.com look under car dealers couple photos.

The Race Deck does make a little noise when you walk on it/drive on it. It's not affixed to the floor so it can shift a little bit. My floor moved toward the front wall after a couple of years, presumably from the cars backing out, but it was easy to pull it back into place (in two pieces).
I had epoxy coating on my last garage floor, but the hot tires easily pulled up the paint. I'd do Race Deck again in a minute.

The newer racedeck tile is more rigid as it has more snap points on each tile edge. Did you lay your floor over an underlayment? If you use a heavy duty landscaping paper as an underlayment, it reduces shifting and also the sound the tiles can make while walking on them. You can also get a gloss finish with racedeck now.

Just to be clear, Premier Garage is not epoxy. It has a 10 year warrant vs 1-3 and can be driven on in 1-2 days instead of 10.

I am not sure if the Premier Garage Warranty has anything to do with the franchise which installed it, but my warranty is for the lifetime of my home ownership. I was about to pull the trigger on the race deck type floors and then decided I didn't want to deal with the ice/snow melting, water and debris getting under the tiles. Couldn't be happier with the PG floor.
