Nice if I 'll be sure to say hello.. i have an 05 C2S Silver if you see me there. How much do they charge and what time should i be there for? I find it difficult to get all the details even off the PCA website (i am a member). Anything I should bring?

Thanks!
Chris

bring your PCA card, to pay at event will be $45 or so I guess. if you wan lunch - it is usually $5 for a sub.

bring some blue painters tape to make your running number, in case if it rains - some sort of raingear as we run rain or shine. sunblock, water, papertowel, spare pair of dry shoes/socks - find a good plastic container with lid that is more or less waterproof and dump it all there.

do not be overstressed about all this, it is fun and nice way to spend a weekend. check autocross forum for more posts regarding this topic.

Look here. Bottom of the page has links to the scheduel for the day.

Take everything out of your car that you don't need and leave it at home. Tech inspection will make you take any loose items out at the event. Drive to the event like a patrol car is following you, because there are often speed/radar traps on the way. Bring a cooler with lots of water and an umbrella helps to keep the sun off. Also helps to wash and wax your car before the event. Makes cone marks wipe right off easily. Unless you don't plan on hitting cones.
You will drive home tired and with a big grin on your face.

I just looked at the schedule on the NCR site. I don't see this event, only the DE on Monday.
Is this NER or some other region??

Thanks

Ya I know, I won't be driving, just volunteering. Thanks for the heads up on the roll call.

I wouldn't mind taking the racer up there for a test day, but I'll wait for an actual test day.

I have a 997C2S so why not?

Hey Sweeper, get your **** out of bed on Sunday and have fun with the cones. Only high performance event where you can drive 100%+ and still drive your car home if you spin. And there is no "spin twice and you are done" rule.

I've always wanted to try autocross, but I really like the speed of the open track days.

Been driving NHMS,LRP,POCONO,Glen for 10 years in a race car, in fact I'll be racing there on Aug21&22 if anyone is interested in checking it out. Before most races with the SCCA, there is a formal test and tune day. Must have a competition license though. I usually only do the afternoon sessions and get close to 75 laps. No flaggers, no fire dept, on track with everything and it's brother. But is very valuable for the race weekend.

I'll try to come by and watch festivities on Sunday.

Take care
