Default New Street Shoes for the Carrera

I picked up some Avant Garde M310 wheels for street use and have moved the Carrera Classic to track use with Toyo R888s. 19X8.5 and 19X11 with proper offsets and are hubcentric for the car. They fit beautiful and balanced out perfect. The are finished in Hypersilver and the fronts weigh 24lbs and the rears come in at 27lbs. Not bad for cast.

Another bonus I found out on the alignment rack. I was concerned about the limited camber in the front and when we looked at the car it already had over (-) 2 degrees in the front! So I looked under the car and low and behold, the previous owner installed GT3 LCAs!!! Sa-weet! While I was under there I installed the 997 GT3 brake ducts as well!!!

We set the car up at (-) 2.2 degrees camber front with .02 toe in and the rears at (-) 1.8 degrees camber and .14 toe in. The caster was mid 8s if I remember correctly. It drove fantastic!

Here are a few shots after I gave it a quick wash:

I almost uniformly hate all aftermarket wheels.
However, those are very nice. How much did you pay? (PM with price)

Oh I know the previous owner of this car. This was his track car...you also have Fabspeed exhaust too or at least the car once did.

Sebring is my home track, let me know when you are going to do a DE. Any questions let me know.

It still had the GT3 LCAs but the Fabspeed was removed . . . Was the previous owner a good, car guy?

He is an instructor with Chin. We run/ instruct together at Sebring. He is a great guy and had his car serviced like it should have been. He traded it in for a 996 GT3 some where in Central Florida.

Great! I have a good buddy that instructs with Chin often. He and his father run 2 very fast FFR cars. One Cobra in dark red/white strips and a Daytona Coupe in yellow/white strips.

I hope to meet you soon at an event. Thanks for all the info!

Looks nice, for some reason look much bigger than stock 19s, I thought they were 20s first. What are the tires? same sidewall as OEM?
